A recent post, ‘Reviving Dying Springs in the Sikkim Himalaya‘, highlighted water supply issues in Sikkim. This short video highlights the rejuvenation of a dying lake, with some nice footage of people and surroundings; the lake is surrounded by prayer flags, and is close to a small monastery. What is the meaning of the prayer flags? Do they play a role in the health of the lake?
