Two videos with spectacular footage of climbing ascents of Kangchenjunga, the world’s 3rd highest peak. Kangchenjunga presents serious challenges – it is not an easy ascent. The first video shows footage of a helicopter rescue of a female climber overcome by blindness and a leg injury. More info on this ascent is here. Climbers typically stop short of summit; the mountain is considered sacred by locals (see Sacred Geography).
These ascents probably started from the Nepal side of the peak.
